Carolyn Piggot of Spring Grove contributes to the fire department to earn her Gold Award from the Girl Scouts organization.
Carolyn donated "Comfort bags" to be given to children during a "scary incident". Each bag contains a handmade soft blanket and a stuffed animal.
Carolyn is currently attending Marquette University.  The Spring Grove Fire Department would like to congratulate Carolyn on achieving this award and thank her for her donation to the fire department and the Spring Grove community.

Breakfast with the Chief

12 Children from the Spring Grove Grade School had their names drawn after completing a fire prevention week project.  The 12 winners had breakfast at the Spring Grove Fire Station on Wednesday, October 29th.

Fire trucks picked the children up at their homes.

After breakfast, all of the children were transported to school in grand fashion with lights and sirens blaring.  This breakfast was a great start to the day for the children and all of our firefighters.
